(More customer reviews)I installed this in my garage and it does the basic job of getting the skis and poles organized,so it is a product that I would recommend. However, I think it could use some improvement so that it could be a 4- or 5-star product. Specifically:
The skis want to slide out of the rack so I have to use a bungee cord to keep them from sliding out. It looks like the rack was designed before the advent of today's binding technologies with the toe piece that is raised so high off the surface of the ski, so there isn't enough contact/friction to keep the skis retained.
Minor complaint is that the bolts provided with the rack have heads that are made of relatively soft material and strip easily. I had to use a hack saw to cut one, re-position the rack and then use my own bolts to hold the rack in place.
