(More customer reviews)I purchased this Navitote with the Weems & Plath Marine Navigation Tool Set(Basic). I incorrectly thought that since the tote was made by Weems & plath that it would have been made with the size of their plotting tools taken into consideration.The design is very poorly designed.It does not accommodate the thickness and length navigation tools, and no thought was given to the 'extra material/dead space required to fold the tote with the tools within, into the neat bundle shown.The 'Navitote' has lots of pockets, but due to its poor design, it would be impossible to use more than half of them.
For Example, when I placed the plotter and parallel rulers in the longest pockets, the interior flap would not fold over them as it was designed to, as the tools were about an inch longer than the space allowed for.
As I mentioned above, the Navitote is designed to roll into a bundle, but when I placed the tools from the above kit and a plotter's triangle and a second plotter, that we already owned, which only about half filled the tote, I was not able to roll the tote up.I rearranged the items, removing the larger plotter, even then it was still very difficult to locate the items within the tote in a way, that I could roll it and fasten it into a neat bundle.
Another compliant was that despite its name "Navitote", there are no handle(s) on it to tote it with, just the ties shown.
